Pioneer 311D4SB Description
Pioneer’s new Champion Series of subwoofers feature a fully redesigned IMPP Composite Cone to deliver a durable cone structure for accurate, yet powerful bass. Pioneer subwoofers including the 311D4SB enclosure are now equipped with a single piece main and drive cone in addition to lightweight and rigid dust cap, a combination that offers more rigidity throughout the cone versus competitors in its class.
Combine this with a highly rigid, fully-enclosed single-piece basket, derived from Pioneer’s world-record holding SPL competition subwoofers, the whole package helps minimize the vibration throughout the subwoofer, increasing the driving force to the cone to produce louder and more rhythmical bass.
Pioneer engineers re-designed the spider on the TS-W311D4 subwoofer used in the 311D4SB package assembly to allow the subwoofer to produce more accurate and rich bass; the spider now assembled onto the spider holder itself rather than directly on to the basket. Additional ventilation holes were also added into the design, improving airflow and releasing heat keeping the piston cool for better performance.
Making installation easy, Pioneer has set up this bad-boy sub in an equally-awesome slot-ported enclosure that will aid in maximising the bass output. Simply hook up your power, earth and amp and you’re away!
