I love this thing. Sure, it’s entry level, but once you’ve had car play you don’t go back. Sound is good, easy to use, car play works well, USB on the front is great, just plugs into the phone mounted on the air vent. I read some comments saying the screen should have been the full width, but I can’t notice. Volume knob is great too – when you need to turn the volume down quick so you can find a park and don’t have steering wheel controls.
I had no problem at all installing it myself in my 2011 Corolla. Though I can see why others may want the pro install rather than pulling the dash apart.
Really happy with it. Really happy with the price too. I reckon I’ll make a fair bit of it back when I sell the car. Plenty of 2011 corolla’s about… but the one with carplay stands out. Esp if you rear mount a USB into the glovebox for a P plater.

Great head unit. Even makes factory speakers sound better. It is cheaper other places but got free camera so works out better.
