Let's Talk Shipping and Returns
In the event that you need to return something to Bankstown Sound & Marine, you can. The conditions of this return are;
- The return process must begin within 30-days of original purchase
- Stock must be in new, unopened condition
- Return shipping costs are yours to cover
- We will reimburse the cost of shipping as a result of our error (we shipped the wrong item, or the item is Dead on Arrival (DOA))
- Once the stock has returned to Bankstown Sound & Marine at 20 Marion Street, Bankstown NSW 2200, Australia we will process your refund less a 20% re-stocking fee
- The balance of your refund will be processed through the method you used to make the original order (i.e. you bought it through PayPal, we’ll refund through PayPal)
- The refund will be processed by Bankstown Sound & Marine within 48 business hours of us receiving the goods
Our shipping partner is Sendle. Unless otherwise advised, the cost of shipping is based off a direct quote from the Sendle system (plus a 5% handling fee) to send from us to you.
From time to time, we will offer a free shipping offer, that will be very clearly dictated to you. We reserve the right to add and remove this free shipping offer at will and we are not obliged to offer it to you in retrospect.
Where possible (when stock allows) we aim to have all orders dispatched within 48-hours; more often than not, orders will be processed faster. Once orders are picked up by Sendle, shipping is usually 2-5 days depending on your location. You will receive an email with your shipment tracking information and you’re able to track your order 24/7 from our Track your Order page for live updates from the carrier.
At this time, Bankstown Sound & Marine are unable to deliver to P.O. Boxes or parcel lockers. Contact us for alternative delivery methods.
Bankstown Sound & Marine is happy to announce that we’re now able to welcome New Zealand residents to the Bankstown Sound Fam! Like Australian buyers, your shipping rates are calculated on our shipping partners rates and will incur the same 5% handling fee.
New Zealand buyers can expect their shipment from DHL anywhere from 4-6 days after dispatch.
Every once in a while, we’ll run a hot special that’ll exceed even our expectations and we’ll have to re-order to fulfill your order! When this happens, you’ll be notified that in order for us to fulfill, we’ll be waiting on stock ourselves!
